Describe the change. Kite makes it in your InDesign document.
Kite is an AI agent that lives in a panel inside InDesign. Ask it to restyle every caption, fit text to its frame, or rebuild a spread, and it edits the document directly. When a request is unclear, it asks before acting.

What Kite handles
- “Apply the Heading 2 style to every bold line shorter than eight words.”
- Kite scans every text frame, finds the matching lines, and applies the style in place.
- “Fit this story to its frames and tell me what’s overset.”
- Kite adjusts tracking and leading within your limits, then reports any text that still won’t fit.
- “Swap these 12 product images and keep the captions aligned.”
- Kite replaces each image in place and re-anchors the captions to their new frames.
- “Make the margins on pages 4–9 match page 3.”
- Kite reads page 3’s margin guides and applies them across the range.

Frequently asked questions
What is a credit?
Credits pay for the AI model's work. Each request uses credits in proportion to how much the model reads and writes, measured in fractions of a credit. A quick text fix uses a small fraction; a multi-step layout change uses more. Larger models use more credits per request than smaller ones, and you choose the model.
Who owns what Kite creates?
You do. We claim no rights over your documents or anything Kite produces.
Are my chats stored on your servers?
No. Conversations are saved on your computer, and you can delete them at any time.
Can I use my own API key?
Yes, optionally, per provider. Your key is used only for your session.
Which plan is right for me?
Free lets you try Kite on real documents. Pro fits freelancers who use InDesign regularly. Max is for studios and publishers with heavy workloads.
Does Kite work on macOS and Windows?
Yes. Kite runs as a panel inside Adobe InDesign on both.
How do I cancel?
From the Profile tab in the Kite panel, at any time.
